To celebrate Small Business Saturday this year, we’re putting a spotlight on a local company that we’ve had the pleasure of working with on two fronts: a business collaboration, and a custom home project!

Founded by Kade Kimber in 2014, Oak City Gifts specializes in creating unique personal and corporate gifts that celebrate life's milestones. With an amazing attention to detail and a drive to take his work to the next level, Kimber and his company exemplify his personal motto, “If you can be anything, be extra.”

When it came time for Rufty Homes to sponsor a local event here in Raleigh, we really wanted to provide a gift that would bring the "WOW" factor. One that was elegant and polished, with every detail considered, just like the homes we build. We knew we needed to partner with a vendor who could deliver a high quantity of pieces without sacrificing quality. That’s why we turned to Oak City Gifts, who lived up to our expectations and beyond.

“We interviewed several builders, but from our very first meeting with Rufty Homes, it was obvious that we could set aside any concerns and that they, too, focused on striving for a stellar end result,” he expressed.
