Average Build Time for Custom Luxury Homes

As a general rule of thumb, you should expect your custom luxury home build to take around two years to complete, give or take a few months. In fact, the pre-construction process alone can take a year, before we ever break ground on your project.

Permitting 

According to The News & Observer, there has been a surge in permit applications in recent months, as construction is back in full swing after COVID. Unfortunately, many government offices, including the Raleigh Planning and Development Department, are experiencing a labor shortage. This combination has led to permitting delays, hindering progress on construction.
