Member Grant Program

As part of our ongoing recovery efforts, the NCHBA is using a portion of the Hurricane Helene Recovery Fund to provide much-needed financial support to fellow members as they embark on the journey of rebuilding their businesses and lives. This initiative aims to provide financial support to our fellow members affected by Hurricane Helene, assisting them in rebuilding their businesses and personal lives. 

The program is managed by the North Carolina Home Builders Educational & Charitable Foundation, which is currently accepting applications for recovery grants. Today, we are proud to share that NCHBA Executive Vice President Tim Minton has signed the first five checks for member grants, marking a significant step in our recovery efforts. The existence of a structured grant program can inspire more donations from individuals and organizations. Knowing that a transparent process exists for distributing aid may encourage others to contribute to relief efforts.

Partnership with US Veterans Corps

NCHBA is also proud to announce our partnership with the Raleigh-based US Veterans Corps to assist with relief efforts in western North Carolina. The US Veterans Corps has been actively traveling to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene to deliver supplies, prepare meals, and provide essential support. As a travel sponsor, NCHBA is honored to support the incredible work of the US Veterans Corps.
