Supporting our community has always been near and dear to our hearts and we’re honored to be able to help support another important cause here in the Triangle: the Fitch Family Comprehensive Pediatric Rehabilitation Program. 

When 10-year old Lee Fitch was struck by a moving vehicle while outside playing, the Fitch family realized that the Triangle simply didn't have a comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation center. His family was forced to transfer their son to Atlanta for the specialized treatment he required.

While the family feels incredibly lucky that Lee was able to get the help he needed and has since returned home to continue his recovery, they want to ensure that other local families don't have to go through the same struggle of finding a nearby treatment center for their children during a time of tragedy. 

Working with UNC Health Foundation, the Fitch family is in the process of creating the Fitch Family Comprehensive Pediatric Rehabilitation Program, which will provide inpatient and outpatient services to children across the Triangle. 

On Saturday, March 5, the Foundation is holding an evening of fun at Carmichael Arena, celebrating the best rivalry in all of college basketball and raising money for this important cause! The Rivalry Roundup 4 Pediatric Rehab will be a night of good food, kid-friendly games, and the classic Carolina vs. Duke rivalry.
