Will I Have a Direct Point of Contact During the Building Process?

When you’re building a luxury custom home, few things are more frustrating than not knowing who to contact when you have a question. Sure, you could contact the main office, but the person you speak with may not know the specifics of your project. Before getting started, ask whether you’ll have a single point of contact during the project. 

Here at Rufty Homes, all of our clients have a project manager assigned to their build. This ensures that you can always contact someone who will know the intimate details of your project. We find that this helps our clients to be more involved at every step of the process. In addition to your project manager, you will have a client coordinator in the office who helps keep you and your interior designer on track with schedules, selections, etc. This team is here to answer any questions you have during the process.

How Often Should I Expect to Receive Updates on My Home?

Along those same lines, you may find that you feel more connected to your project if you receive regular updates about the progress being made. It’s a good idea to ask your builder how often you can expect to hear about the construction progress.

Realistically, you should expect your luxury custom build to take anywhere between one or two years to complete, depending on the scope of the project.
