Core Values and Corporate Philanthropy

As a company, Rufty Homes puts an emphasis on giving back to the community through various philanthropic efforts. Supporting those in need is a core value of our company, so it’s no surprise that it’s a reflection of the core values of our employees as well. One of our most important core values is giving and supporting others. 

Rufty Homes continues to do this through financial gifts, paid volunteer time for our employees, and significant partnerships/sponsorships throughout the Triangle community.

How Will the Company Change in its Giving Efforts in the Post-Pandemic World?

Rufty Homes has remained consistent from before COVID, during COVID-19, and now following COVID in our effort to philanthropically give to our community. Future efforts include:

• Homelessness - lots of organizations to help that and reestablish that situation. 
• Green Chair - puts furniture back into the home.
• Raleigh Rescue Mission - feeding

Jon Rufty has ensured that the core of the Rufty Homes mission is to give back and support a community that has supported us for over 35 years. Senior leadership, as well as the rest of the Rufty staff, are allowed to personally support any philanthropic mission of their choosing, which ranges from mission trips to Africa, to hosting blood drives and so much more.
